The Story

In the age before history was written, when the world still trembled with raw creation, four extraordinary souls discovered something that would change the course of existence forever. Deep within the Whispering Caverns — where reality grew thin and the boundaries between worlds dissolved like morning frost — they found the Amethyst Veil: a gem of impossible beauty that pulsed with the heartbeat of forgotten gods.

For generations, the people of Eldermoor have whispered their names with reverence and dread in equal measure. Seraphine the Wise, whose sight pierced the veils of time. Aldric the Golden, whose blade carved order from chaos. Thornwen the Green, whose roots held the world together. And Varek the Shieldborn, whose ambition would one day crack the very foundations they had built.

Gameplay

Tales of Eldermoor is a text-based RPG built on a simple truth: the best stories are the ones you shape yourself.

Every scene is a decision. Every decision has weight. There are no throwaway choices here — the path you take closes doors behind you, opens others you didn’t expect, and remembers everything. Alliances forged and enemies made, words spoken in haste, mercy shown or withheld — the world of Eldermoor pays attention.

You don’t need a controller. You don’t need an install. You need a browser and the willingness to see where the story takes you.

Your Choices Matter

This isn’t a story that happens to you. It’s a story you build.

Branching storylines stretch across multiple campaigns, each shaped by the sum of your decisions. Hidden scenes surface only for those who look carefully — or choose boldly. Secret paths open to characters with the right stats, the right reputation, the right history. What one hero discovers, another may never find.

Your actions have consequences that echo. A favour done in chapter one may save your life in chapter three. A betrayal you thought you’d buried has a way of resurfacing.

Choose Your Path

Ranger

Paladin

Bard

Weavers of word and melody, Bards command the battlefield with song and story.

Dark Mage

Draws power from shadow itself. Where others see darkness, the Dark Mage sees opportunity.

Warrior

First through the door. Last to fall. When shadows rise and the city burns, someone has to stand and fight.

Rogue

Ghosts among the living, Rogues slip through shadow and silence, striking where armor is thinnest.

Cleric

Vessels of divine wrath and mercy, Clerics channel forgotten gods through prayer and pain.
